Professional Football Player. For thirteen seasons (1988 to 2000), he played at the offensive tackle position in the National Football League with the Cleveland Browns, Baltimore Ravens and Denver Broncos.
Tony Jones (1966-2021)
Born Anthony Edward Jones, he made his initial impact on the football field during his years at Franklin County High School in Georgia. He played collegiately at West Carolina University, prior to being selected by the Cleveland Browns as an non-drafted player in 1988.
While with the Denver Broncos, Jones protected quarterback John Elway and running back Terrell Davis and was a key contributor to two Super Bowl championships (XXXII and XXXIII). In 1998, he distinguished himself when he achieved Pro-Bowl honors. Jones totaled 184 career regular season games.
