Rodrigo Ruy Arias Ibañez death 2 October 2021
Arias Ibáñez, was born in Santiago Ixcuintla, Nayarit, but lived most of his life in Guadalajara, Jalisco where he studied Music and Letters degrees, as well as a Master in Hispanic Letters at the University of Guadalajara, he was an active guitarist since he turned 15 years until his death, and performed concerts in forums in various cities of the country, in addition to publishing storybooks, novels and poetry.
He also was a collaborator for the magazine “Panóptica” and the newspaper “Milenio” in Jalisco. Among his published works are “Significados musicales” (2009), “Memorias del III Coloquio Nacional de Música” (2013), and “Historiografía musical jalisciense” (2013),
