American professional baseball player
Major League Baseball Player. For eight seasons (1965, 1967 to 1969 and 1971 to 1974), he played in the right field position with the Cleveland Indians, Washington Senators, Kansas City Royals, Cincinnati Reds, California Angels and St. Louis Cardinals.
Born Richard Alan Scheinblum, he was raised in Englewood, New Jersey where he attended Dwight Moore High School. He played collegiate baseball, basketball and participated in track at Long Island University. Signed as an amateur free agent by the Cleveland Indians in 1964, he made his Major League debut on September 10, 1965.

While with the Kansas City Royals, he produced a career-high 135 hits and distinguished himself when he achieved all star status in 1972.
In 426 career regular season games, he compiled 320 hits and a .263 lifetime batting average. He extended his professional career an additional two-season in Japan (1975 to 1976). After retiring from baseball, he operated a jewelry store in California.
