Politician. Radamés Salazar Solorio was a Mexican politician affiliated with the National Regeneration Movement (Morena) party. From 2009 to 2012 as advisor to the municipal president of Emiliano Zapata, Alberto Figueroa Valladares. From 2012 to 2015 he was a councilor for the municipality of Jiutepec, during the presidency of Silvia Salazar Hernández. In the federal elections of 2018 he was nominated by the National Regeneration Movement party as a second-term senator for the state of Morelos. After winning the elections, he assumed office as Senator of the Republic in the LXIV Legislature of the Congress of the Union representing the state of Morelos from 2018 until his death in 2021. Within the Senate, he was president of the bicameral commission on national security and secretary of the commission on foreign relations with Europe.
