Paul Mitchell US Politician (1956-2021)
US Congressman. A member of the Republican Party (later Independent), he served Michigan’s 10th Congressional District in the United States House of Representatives from 2017 until 2021.
Raised in Michigan, his father was an auto factory worker, he was educated at Michigan State University, before becoming proprietor of Ross Medical Education Center.
Mitchell succeeded Candice Miller in the United States House of Representatives and during his tenure, he served on the Committee on Armed Services, the Committee on Oversight and Reform and the Committee on Transportation and Infrastructure.
Paul was succeeded by Lisa McClain in the Congress. He died following a several month battle with cancer.
