Patrick Horgan British Actor (1929-2021)
He was best known to television viewers for the various roles he played on daytime soap operas from 1970s to 1990s. He began his acting career on the series “BBC Sunday Night Theatre” in 1953.
He went on to appear in such series as “The Gentle Falcon,” “The Girl from U.N.C.L.E.,” “The Doctors,” “Casablanca,” and “The Cosby Show.” He became better known for his appearances on the daytime soap operas “As the World Turns,” “Ryan’s Hope,” “Guiding Light,” “The Edge of Night,” and “One Life to Live.” In 1956, he made his film debut in “Pursuit of the Graf Spee.”
He later appeared in such films as “The Evil of Frankenstein,” (1964) “The Thomas Crown Affair,” (1968) and “The Curse of the Jade Scorpion.” (2001)
