For nine seasons (1995 to 1999 and 2001 to 2004), he played at the defensive tackle position in the National Football League with the Houston Oilers/Tennessee Oilers/Titans and New York Jets.

Born Mijoshki Antwon Evans, he attended Lanett West High School in Alabama and played collegiate football at the University of Alabama in Birmingham. Signed by the Houston Oilers as a non drafted player in 1995, he totaled 94 career regular season games.

Evans was a contributor to the Tennessee Titans team which appeared in Super Bowl XXXIV in 2000. He died from kidney cancer.
