Jose Clemente Orozco Farias was an editor, visual artist, printmaker and typographer. He studied art and design history at Dartmouth College in the United States and a master’s degree in design at the Rhode Island School of Design.

When he returned to Mexico, he began his career in graphic arts and art book publishing. He was the founder of Taller Ditoria and Casa Impronta, publishing books by hand. He was the grandson of the muralist Jose Clemente Orozco. Among his recognitions are the Annual Medal of the Royal Society of Arts of England.
