Former Premier of Anguilla

Anguillian Statesman. He served as the Chief Minister of Anguilla for two different terms (March 16, 1994 to March 6, 2000 and February 16, 2010 to April 23, 2015).

He was first elected to the Anguilla House of Assembly in 1976. In 1994, he was elected chief minister and served for six years before his party, the Anguilla United Movement, lost the general election to the Anguilla United Front.

He would serve as opposition leader until 2010 when his party won the general election and he became chief minister again. His second tenure lasted five years until his party lost the 2015 election.
