He released his first folk and pop album, “Obituary,” in 1971, and followed that up with another, “Son of Obituary,” the next year. He then started acting and appeared in projects such as “Seinfeld” and “Grey’s Anatomy.”
He was also an accomplished stage actor who appeared on Broadway’s “A Few Good Men,” written by Aaron Sorkin, during the 1980s. His acting career also ramped up during the 1980s and 1990s, with appearances on popular shows such as “Miami Vice,” “NYPD Blue” and “Walker, Texas Ranger.”
