He was best known for his role of Mark Jennings, the tennis pro first husband of Linda Evans’ character Krystle Carrington on the ABC prime-time soap opera “Dynasty” from 1982 to 1984.
He got his start in show business when he was signed by legendary agent Dick Clayton, who represented the likes of James Dean, Burt Reynolds and Jane Fonda, which led to a contract with Universal. His first major role came in 1970 as Sky Ramson in the daytime horror soap opera “Dark Shadows.” Besides “Dynasty,” he went on to appear on such television series as “Cannon,” “Kojak,” “The Secret Empire,” “Ramblin’ Man,” “1st and Ten,” and “Baywatch.”

He also appeared on such daytime soaps as “General Hospital” and “Guiding Light.” He was also a lauded commercial actor, starring in over 100 commercials such as the “Walk a Mile for a Camel” campaign shot at the Taj Mahal and a Maxwell House Coffee ad alongside Margaret Hamilton.
He was also featured as one of the Old Spice and Marlboro men. After appearing in the 2003 film “Hulk” as the President, he retired to Colorado with his family to pursue his lifelong passion of skiing.
