Emiliano González Campos was a Mexican writer and poet considered one of the essential writers of fantastic literature in Mexico.
He studied Hispanic Language and Literature at the Faculty of Philosophy and Letters of the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM).
González compiled and edited the work “Miedo en español: 28 Cuentos de lo macabro y lo fantástico” in 1973, when he was barely eighteen years old.

He received a scholarship from the Centro Mexicano de Escritores (CEM) in 1975 and a scholarship from the National Institute of Fine Arts (INBA) and the National Fund for Social Activities (Fonapas) in 1978. in 1978 he published “Los sueños de la Bella Durmiente”, being awarded the Xavier Villaurrutia Prize.
He has also collaborated with texts and articles in different national printed media such as “El Gallo Ilustrado” —supplement of “El Día”—, “El Heraldo de México,” “Fin de Semana” and “Punto de Partida.”
