Biography
In 1946, he joined the list of “The Association of Democratic Actors”, in full government of Juan Domingo Perón , and whose board of directors was made up of Pablo Racciopi , Lydia Lamaison , Pascual Nacaratti , Alberto Barcel and Domingo Mania .
In 1947 she settled in Spain, where she married the future director and screenwriter José María Forqué , with whom she had two children: Álvaro, a writer and Verónica (1955-2021), an actress.

His most recognized work is framed in the genre of children’s literature , in which he has obtained classic awards such as Doncel ( 1966 , for Quiquiriquí ), Lazarillo ( 1973 , for Mint Candy ) and National Children’s and Youth Literature ( 1992 , by A Monster in the Closet ).
Some of his works are based on an unrealistic humor, such as I’m flying! ( 1989 ), where the protagonist, fed up with the “Fly away!” With which his family gives him orders, he will end up inside a balloon that they have given him at the bakery, which takes him flying from here to there.
This allows him to watch a football game for which he has no ticket, makes him meet the sighs (with an allusion to Bécquer for the reader who recognizes her) and leads him to meet a helicopter, a flying carpet or a family of storks
