For four-seasons (1973 to 1976), he played at the cornerback position in the National Football League with the Denver Broncos.
He made his initial impact on the football field during his years at Balboa High School in California, before playing collegiate football at the University of Washington where he achieved All-American honors.
Selected by the Denver Broncos during the 15th round of the 1973 NFL Draft, he totaled 46 career regular season games. After his football career, he attended Harvard University’s Divinity School and was a paster in the San Francisco area.
