At the age of 14, she entered the School of Dramatic Art. In 1949, she made her acting debut on theatrical stage in the production “Historia de una casa.”

She went on to appear in numerous other theatrical productions throughout her career. In 1952, she made her film debut in “Don Juan Tenorio.” She would later appear in such films as “The Hiding Places,” (1969) “Jalea real,” (1980) “Luces de bohemia,” (1985) and “El Placer de matar.”

(1988) In 1960, she made her “small screen” debut in “Gran teatro.”  She later appeared in such television series as “Teatro de siempre,” “Cuentos y leyendas,” “Fortunata y Jacinta,” “Estudio 1,” “El jardin de Venus,” and “Funcion de noche.”

She earned various awards and honors through the years on both the film and theatrical sides of her career.
